Its funny someone said to me the other day ‘The only reason I buy John West Salmon is because of the Ad where the fisherman kicks the bear in the sack’ this got me thinking about images and the power of photography. I was trying to remember the last time I seen a photographic ad that made me sit up and want something (thats a future post) if you can think of any drop me a link in the comments.

I haven’t been sleeping or really eating lately no matter how much I try, I just have to try make sure that it doesn’t turn into a negative slump… could be worse. I heard or read a phrase somewhere ‘If everyone in world came together and threw all their problems into a pile they would immediately try to take theirs back’

Feeling alot more tired today, work is taking its toll. Felt like I was going in the wrong direction the other day but its not so bad right now. I am beginning to appreciate what I have. We took my grandmas dog to the vet today, bad liver more tests friday to see if it is because of a brain lesion …which might be affecting her bodys ability to retrieve some acids the body produces to break down food. I was given the laymans description of the diagnosis, turns out layman is derived from laity which initially referred to non-clergymen and eventually shifted to information given by non C men 
. I have been looking at words lately and how so much of the laguage is basic like fireplace clothesline okay im slightly making words up now 
this would be the perfect time to use a line from that I heard when I wa 15 ‘If you can’t f*** (with) it what is the use?’ It works completely out of context just like this picture. I found this image months ago forgot about and found it completely by chance today wierd that it fits with the dog story, completely changes it in my eyes. Initially I thought ‘what the heck this is so freaking wierd I love it!’ now it makes me think about my mother and my aunt and how they both love animals and like to take care of them and relationships… ( please beastiality jokes and B slang at the door of your throat please)
I get paid monday so I might get some film scanned but its also a good day to mug me…funny word.

Feeling good today after a slightly restless night. I think I miss the sun… just a little.
Resolutions… I have none it is purely a coincidence that I decided to make a new entry . Actually to be truthful I have been slightly inspired by mr. Alex Sinclairs blog this morning. I kind of dig this kids writing style and well taste in most things 2d and photographic.
I found out that Nadav Kander has a new youtube page which can be found here. One great still moving narative/ photo fine art documentary piece.
Hopefully some new posts in the coming days
Shout out to everyone who I haven’t seen in awhile… which is almost all of you. Hope you had fun in the snow.
Speaking of which I went out trying to take photographs of people rushing for the train, to be honest it was with the intention
of them falling or slipping due to the ice, well I failed in that respect as I had to actually get the train myself blah blah blah. Came home that evening seen this (Irish viewers look away now) and decided to give up… why compete?
I want this blog to slowly become focused on my own work in the next few months… just a thought… for now anyway.
